While the big man in the red suit has presents covered, we’re spreading Christmas cheer this year through our respite care and short breaks
Following our grand opening in August 2020, we’ve welcomed a steady stream of residents for both residential
stays. As you might imagine, one of the biggest trends we’ve seen this year while welcoming new residents is how keen carers are to ensure that their loved ones are well cared for and not living in isolation over the festive season.
That’s why we’re so keen to spread the word about our festive short breaks! Our fantastic purpose-built luxury care home
, located on the site of the former Twyford Bathrooms factory in Alsager, features a number of high-quality facilities including a beauty clinic, Terrace bar, gin lounge, library and a multitude of craft and activity rooms. Everything you need for a comfortable, fun-filled stay to stave off the winter blues!
Festive Respite Care Packages
In recent weeks, the team have worked hard to bring Christmas spirit to Twyford House and the wider community with the recent installation of an outdoor winter wonderland, complete with twinkling outdoor lights. We’re also very proud to have sponsored the Alsager Town Council’s Christmas tree
, which was unveiled towards the end of November.
Carl Scarlett, Director of Lovett Care, commented: “Our short break packages are designed to give peace of mind to individuals and their carers over the Christmas period. Having spoken with many residents and their families, we know lots of individuals are concerned about the implications for their loved ones should they have to self-isolate at any point this winter. Larger families, too, may face difficult decisions regarding their Christmas bubbles considering the new restrictions.
“Our family of carers and professionals are dedicated to making this year the best Christmas ever, with lots of activities planned in the upcoming weeks to mark the occasion and make it feel very special for everyone under our care.”
Christmas plans at Twyford House currently include festive baking, crafts, carol services, and private screenings of Christmas classics at The Rex, Twyford’s own cinema.
