Lovett Care Ltd has completed a £1.2 million refurbishment of the former ‘Building Blocks Nursery’ building to extend the provision of Goldendale House residential care home for the people of Stoke on Trent. To enhance and develop our residential care, the company bought the building next door and has created a new wing, successfully joined onto existing facilities. This has incorporated 12 additional new ensuite bedrooms, complete with walk-in wet rooms, personal fridges and programmable safe for belongings. Goldendale House has also seen the establishment of new lounge and dining facilities as well as a state of the art kitchen and ventilation system to ensure the health and well-being of all our residents. The rendered exterior finishes the building on Plex Street in Tunstall to give it a modern feel whilst maintaining its traditional home comforts.
