1. How long have you worked at Charlotte House?
I have had the pleasure of working at Charlotte House since 2013, first as a Care Assistant and now in my role as receptionist.
2. What is your favourite part of your role?
Charlotte House is a beautiful place to work in. I love nothing more than getting to know our wonderful residents and their loved ones, as well as welcoming visitors. Having fun with our residents, sharing memories and getting involved in our community here is such a pleasure. At Christmas, we staged a pantomime of Cinderella and I played the part of one of the ugly sisters. I looked ridiculous but everyone really enjoyed the play, which is what it’s all about for me!
3. What do you like to do outside of work?
I love visiting National Trust homes and castles. There are so many interesting places to visit, but my favourites are definitely Bodnant Gardens and Chirck Castle. I’m also passionate about DIY and have recently renovated my kitchen and bathroom.
