Charlene Beck is Home Manager at Charlotte House. She is also a registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the care sector and an NVQ Level 5 in Management. Charlene decided at the age of 18 she was going to become a nurse, as she loves making a positive impact on people’s lives.
Over the course of her career, Charlene has been both a district nurse in the NHS and worked part-time in private aesthetics. She has experience in wound management, end of life care and specialist dementia care, as well as being a mentor for novice nurses.
1. What is your favourite part of your role?
I am extremely passionate about my job because I love caring for people and making a positive difference in their lives.
2. What do you like to do outside of work?
When I’m not at work, I love to travel and experience different cultures.
