Safety – “People were safeguarded from abuse. Risks were assessed and people's safety was monitored. People were supported by sufficient staff that had been recruited safely.”


Effective – “People's needs and choices were assessed and they were supported to receive the care and support they needed…They were supported by staff that were knowledgeable and had the skills to meet their needs…The building was designed to support people effectively.”


Caring - People were treated with kindness, respect and compassion by staff who also provided emotional reassurance when required…to maintain their independence and their privacy and dignity…”


Responsive – “The service was responsive. People and relatives were involved in all aspects of their care and their needs and preferences were assessed and met.”
Well Led – The service was well led. There was a positive culture where people, relatives and staff felt able to express their views and we found these were used to drive improvements.”
